Klientka za námi přišla s nápadem jak moderní technologie využít k dobré věci a vytáhnout děti i dospělé od obrazovek ven do přírody nebo do ulic města. Cílem bylo vytvořit outdoorovou hru, která promění obyčejnou procházku v interaktivní pátračku. Naším úkolem bylo tuhle vizi technicky zastřešit a postavit robustní platformu, kde se pohyb v reálném světě plynule propojuje s digitálním herním prostředím.
Museli jsme vyvinout aplikaci, který je dostatečně hravý pro děti, ale zároveň technicky precizní v práci s polohou a mapovými podklady, aby vše fungovalo bezchybně v jakémkoliv terénu. Výsledkem je aplikace, která kombinuje radost z pohybu s gamifikací a dává uživatelům nástroje k tvoření vlastního obsahu i budování komunity lovců detailů.
Sign-up and location sharing
To start the adventure, all you need is a quick registration and profile creation, under which all future achievements and collected points are saved.The most technically challenging part was fine-tuning the GPS so the app maps accurately even in areas with poor signal. Right after logging in, the system selects the nearest routes based on current coordinates, so the user can immediately start searching without complicated map navigation.
Creating a new picture map
In the app, virtually anyone can create their own route. Simply mark points on the map and easily assign detail photos to them.The entire process can be done directly during an outdoor walk, or the route can be prepared at home from previously taken photos. We designed the app so that uploading is as simple as possible.
Hunting details and climbing to the top of the leaderboard
The game tests your observation skills when searching for the right details in the field based on a set of photos. Your task is to recognize which photo belongs to a specific location on the route and correctly assign it to that spot.For each hit, you earn points that move you up the leaderboard and motivate you to discover more hidden details in the area.
